Bahamas Disaster Relief Drive Continues through October 4

Find out what items are needed and where to drop off goods or make contributions to aid survivors of Hurrican Dorian. This is a cross-College effort in partnership with the Georgia Tech Police Department.

Diversity Symposium Explores Experiences of Georgia Tech's First African American Students and Faculty and Looks to the Future

In accord with our social justice values, Ivan Allen College faculty were integral to Georgia Tech's Diversity Symposium, organized by the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. A panel of the Institute's first African American students and graduate was moderated by former dean and LMC professor Jacqueline Jones Royster; a conversation with the first African American to be promoted and tenured as a full professor at Georgia Tech featured Dorothy Yancy who was on faculty in the School of History and Sociology. A final panel moderated by history Professor Emeritus Gregory Nobles explored "Charting Our Future: A Diverse and Inclusive Campus for All."
