Alasdair Young (Nunn School) wrote The U.K. is in Brexit Trouble. It Can’t Decide Whether to be Closer to the E.U. or to the U.S.” The Washington Post, December 7.  Note: Dr. Young disclaims the title which was written by the Post editors.

Ian Bogost (LMC) was quoted in “Digital Distractions: Animal Crossing: Picket Camp.” Chronicle of Higher Education, December 7.

Todd Michney (HSOC) wrote the op-ed “Cleveland’s Outer Neighborhoods Could Be the Key to the Future.” Cleveland Magazine, December 5.

Lee Shaw, Homer Rice, and Julius Shaw Visit Sports, Soceity, and Technology Class

In October, Lee Shaw, Homer Rice, and Julius Shaw visited the class taught by Johnny Smith (on right), who is the Julius C. Bud Shaw Professor of Sports, Society, and Technology. The Shaw brothers are continuing the support for the professorship and the program established by their father, Julius “Bud” Shaw. Also endowed within the School of History and Technology is the Homer Rice Chair in Sports and Society held by Mary McDonald.
