Digital Media Ph.D. Alumnus Andy Quitmeyer Will Be ‘Hacking the Wild’ on New Science Channel Show

In Hacking the Wild, Quitmeyer will go deep into some of the most remote parts of the world armed with nothing but everyday technology and his creativity to survive the wilderness. The show premieres on February 15 on the Science Channel. In the meantime, well be chatting with Andy, a recipient of our 2013 Ivan Allen Jr. Graduate Student Legacy Award, about the show being built around him and his teaching and research in Singapore. Stay tuned!

New Masters in Cybersecurity Policy Will Launch in Fall 2017

The College adds its seventh master's program this fall with the launch of Public Policy’s new M.S. in Cybersecurity. Enlarging upon the M.S. in Information Security (computing), policy is one of three tracks in cybersecurity now offered at Georgia Tech. The multitrack offerings position the Institute as a leader in the field by emphasizing the multidisciplinary nature of cybersecurity issues. The new M.S. further capitalizes on Public Policy’s profile among information and technology management program which was ranked #2 in 2016 by U.S. News and World Report.
