Sisters of Tomorrow: The First Women of Science Fiction edited by LMC Professor Lisa Yaszek and Patrick B. Sharp was among the top 15 books selected by bestsciencefictionbooks.com noting that the book is a “revelation” introducing “women short story writers, poets, editors and artists who were hugely important in the early days of American sf yet who are mostly forgotten now.”

Over 100 alums, faculty, staff, students, and friends attended our annual Homecoming Mimosa Brunch. The Ramblin Wreck parade rolled down Bobby Dodd Way this year giving our party on the porch of Old CE a front row view. Thanks to everyone who made this years brunch a success!

Alums Gather for “LMC in the World: Celebrating Impact, Building Futures”

“LMC in the World: Celebrating Impact, Building Futures” was the theme for the schools annual alumni gathering the evening of November 16. Provost Bras, Vice Provost for UG Education Colin Potts, Dean Jacqueline Jones Royster, and the schools naugural advisory board member, Lester Tate, were among the more than 100 attendees.
