Humanitarian Activist to Receive Ivan Allen Jr. Prize for Social Courage

Nancy Parrish, who helped launch a national movement to reform how the U.S. military prosecutes sexual violence, will receive the 2016 Ivan Allen Jr. Prize for Social Courage. Georgia Tech will host this year's activities with a new format on February 18. The College continues to be involved: Associate Dean Carol Colatrella is organizing the Allen Prize Symposium and Dean Jacqueline Royster will highlight the College's ongoing stewardship of the Allen legacy at Georgia Tech.
