At Honors Luncheon in April, Several IAC Faculty and Staff Receive Recognition for Distinguished Service

Held on April 13 at the Student Center Ballroom at Tech, the Georgia Institute of Technology Faculty/ Staff Honors Luncheon was attended by a wide cross-section of the Tech community. A number of Ivan Allen College faculty and staff members received awards at this function for their outstanding teaching, academic advising, and distinguished service to the community.

IAC-sponsored Summer Programs Continue to Attract Record Number of Students

One of the most successful summer programs at Tech is the Languages for Business and Technology (LBAT) Program in Mexico. Sponsored by the School of Modern Languages, “this program immerses students for four weeks in experiences designed to promote deeper understanding of what it means to do business in and with Mexico,” says Modern Languages Professor Vicki Galloway. This year students will also travel to Argentina, Brazil, and other Latin American countries.
