The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia Approves B.S. degree in Economics and International Affairs.

The Board of Regents has unanimously approved the new joint undergraduate degree in International Affairs and Economics (INTA/ECON). The need for such a program grows out of the fact that as traditional boundaries between domestic and international issues become increasingly blurred, technical, managerial, governmental, and other issues will have increasingly more economic and international dimensions.

Sue V. Rosser Named to New Dean’s Chair

Ivan Allen College, the liberal arts college of Georgia Tech, announced the establishment of the Ivan Allen Jr. Dean’s Chair in Liberal Arts and Technology. Dr. Sue V. Rosser, the current dean of the college, has been named as the first chair holder. Dean Rosser has indicated that she intends to direct the income from the endowment toward support of the College’s burgeoning graduate programs.
